From a brand to a boutique: Keys Harper and The Spoiled Brats Brand
Keys Harper is an entrepreneur from Atlanta, Georgia and is best known for “Spoiled Brats Brand” — a high fashion street wear brand for people who know they deserve the best in life and are not afraid to go after their dreams. Featured in magazines such as Voyage ATL, Urban Magazine, Euro Wed Mag, and Voyage Baltimore, Keys and her brand have also been interviewed on various radio stations, including WAOK 1380, Hits 92.3, and Piff Radio. From the brand to a boutique and now a podcast, Keys and Spoiled Brats Brand show no signs of slowing down.
Thanks for sharing your story with us. Can you give us a little insight into your background?
I always knew that I wanted to be my own boss but didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do. I initially went to school for nursing and later determined that nursing was not for me. I’m a creative so I knew I wanted to get into something that I could express myself through.
What started as a mental health outlet for one woman, has grown into a community of artistic, resilient people who are inspired by one another to go after their dreams. Spoiled Brats was created to empower you to face the battles in your life without fear. The clothes under Spoiled Brats Brand are vibrant, one-of-a-kind, and designed to make an impression.
Please tell us more about Spoiled Brats Brand.
Spoiled brats never settle for anything less than they deserve. For the woman who knows that she can have it all, the man who works on his goals every single day, the creatives who play by their own rules and let their creativity shine through — Spoiled Brats is the clothing brand for you. Our clothes are designed for people who want to show off their unique style and personality, while still feeling comfortable and confident.
What are you currently focused on? Most proud of so far?
I’m currently focused on evolving my brand one step at a time and not overwhelming myself in the process. I’m most proud of being a part of a team and having my own clothing boutique called “Ayo boutique” in Baltimore. I’m currently working on opening a store in Atlanta as well. I’m also proud of remaining consistent and not giving up on my dreams no matter the challenges that I face, and creating and hosting my own podcast — The Spoiled Brats Show.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I could go back in time, I would’ve started my brand earlier and saved as much money as I could growing up to put towards my brand.
What can we expect from you next?
I’ll be opening a new store in Atlanta soon (which will house over 70 brands), The Spoiled Brats Show is about to take off, and I’m planning some upcoming networking and mental health events.
